[back to SerendipityG3A's profile] I watch Star Trek. I don't wear (or even own) a Starfleet uniform, Vulcan ears, or a Klingon make-up set. I don't have a shrine of Star Trek collectables, model ships, pictures of space battles, crew dolls, phasers, or com badges. That's not what I'm interested in. I don't have Star Trek bumper stickers on my car, I don't call my car a shuttle craft, and I don't call my microwave a replicator. My email address and other online ID names have nothing to do with Star Trek, I don't read Star Trek fan novels or comics, and I don't write them either. My interest lies exclusively in the movies and TV shows. I just watch them. All of them. Even the animated ones. I own a lot of the episodes, but not all of them. For a current up-to-the-minute list of what I have, you can deduce it from seeing what I don't have at my Amazon Non-Pony wish list. It has a lot of other stuff on it, but it has a bunch of Star Trek discs too. The stuff on the wish list is stuff I don't have. Or I might have some of the episodes in the season on there, but they might be damaged, especially the really old ones I've collected on VHS that are now reaching the stage of unviewable, so now I need digital ones. Not sure how much longer I'm gonna be able to keep a VHS player working anyway. You know Blu-ray has already come out, so those VHS tapes are two systems obsolete! [back to SerendipityG3A's profile] |
